You need the certificate to fly for money. The exam costs $175, and it takes two weeks to prepare.

Canada

Basic operations covers most flying. The exam runs online, and it costs $10.

United Kingdom

Any drone with a camera needs an operator ID. The test is free, and it takes twenty minutes.

Whichever drone you buy, the account posts the shot with your name on it.
